From the perspective of the sub-index: According to the survey, the number of dealers entering the vehicle was reduced in February, and inventory pressure was reduced compared to January. The market demand index and average daily sales index are still below the warning line and the market is not booming.

From the perspective of the regional index, the national total index in February was 52.3%, the northern index was 52.8%, the western index was 50.6%, the southern index was 50.8%, and the eastern index was 52.0%. In February, the regional early-warning index fell from January, but was still above the warning level.

From the sub-brand type index: In February 2018, the joint venture brand index and the self-owned brand index fell back from January, and the import brand index was basically the same as last month.

The survey shows that dealers’ expectations for March are better than February, dealers believe that there are more workdays in March than in February, there are spring auto shows in some regions, and the Lantern Festival promotional activities, etc., and market expectations for March are expected to be better than in February. .

The China Automobile Dealers Association recommends that dealers should rationally estimate the actual market demand and reasonably control the inventory level in light of the actual situation to prevent excessive inventory pressure and lead to operational risks.
