If it happens to be a dangerous goods ship, there may be a major public safety incident involving inland water pollution. The consequences would be disastrous."
The Yangtze River Navigation Administration stressed that the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau must earnestly strengthen channel maintenance and channel protection, attach great importance to it, investigate and deal with it according to law, and investigate relevant responsibilities according to law; the Yangtze River Shipping Public Security Bureau must increase efforts to protect the Yangtze River shipping, and investigate the illegal activities in the end.
