China will introduce German KSB vertical mixed flow pump Currently, KSB supplies the SEZN vertical mixed-flow pump for China's largest liquefied gas center that was started in Hainan and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2013.

Today, global attention to liquefied gas has generally increased. This natural gas resource is transported from the pumping site to an LNG (liquefied natural gas) dedicated receiving station located near the coast or near the port. Natural gas is high pressure cooled to -164°C in an LNG receiving station and stored. During the cooling process, natural gas is converted from a gaseous state into a liquid state and becomes LNG, a liquid natural gas. After that, the liquid natural gas is pumped to a special container and transported to other LNG receiving stations, where it is converted back to gas.

With the Asian economy, especially the growth of China’s economy, the demand for energy has generally increased, and the demand for natural gas has also continued to increase. This means that more and more LNG receiving stations have started construction. For example, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is building a large-scale receiving station in the western part of China's Hainan Province, which is expected to be put into use in August 2014. The receiving station currently under construction is located in the Yangpu Economic Development Zone. Once completed, it will produce 2 million tons of liquefied gas each year. By 2016, the annual output will reach 3 million tons, making it China's largest LNG center.

The SEZN pump unit provided by KSB will be equipped with Residur ceramic bearings, and the components that come into contact with the medium are all duplex stainless steel. The pump unit is used to process the large amount of seawater needed to heat liquefied natural gas. This process can convert liquefied gas to a gaseous state.

Electrowinning Gold

The equipment is new complete equipment used in gold trade to recover gold from the gold-carrying carbon. It is suitable for desorption and electrolysis of gold-carrying carbon with different grades. The desorption is an intermixture of 1~2% sodium cyanide and 1~4% sodium hydroxide. The desorption solution is pumped to the heater by circulating pump and heated to the desired temperature. Then the solution flows downward to the bottom of desorption column, through the gold-carrying carbon in the column and upward to the top of it. During flowing, the solution strip gold from the carbon (at this stage the solution containing gold is called as pregnant solution). The pregnant solution runs out from the top of the column and into the electrolytic cell. In cell, the gold in the solution is electrically deposited in the steel wool of the cathode frame, and the rest (called as lean solution) flows back to desorption solution cell and recycled.

The gold mud containing rich gold and silver is taken out of desorption cell and transported to the separation section.
