The Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission organized on November 23rd, 2010, the “Study on New Methods for Separation and Concentration of Modified Mesoporous Materials and Atomic Spectrometric Identification of Heavy Metals in Sewage Systems” (Project Numbering) undertaken by the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Passed acceptance.

This project is one of the ten new domestic scientific instrument application methods invested by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission in 2009. Based on the flow injection analysis system developed by Shanghai Spectral Instrument Co., Ltd. and the SP-3801 flame atomic absorption spectrometer platform, a new method for the detection of heavy metals in wastewater and wastewater is developed.

The expert group listened to the project summary report, technical report and verification report. After reviewing the relevant technical data, it was agreed that the mesoporous materials obtained through modification and modified by one-step synthesis method have higher selectivity for Hg(II). Adsorption; based on the modified mesoporous materials, established a domestic flow injection solid phase extraction combined with flame atomic absorption spectrometry to achieve on-line separation and enrichment of Cu(II), Cr(VI), Cd(II), Hg ( II) Analytical methods for iso-trace analysis; A method for the determination of Cr(VI) in wastewater by on-line separation and adsorption by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with amine-modified mesoporous materials was established. The analysis method has the characteristics of low cost, rapidness and environmental protection, and can significantly improve the detection sensitivity. The completion of the development of the domestic flow injection analysis system and flame atomic absorption spectrometer combined technology will be conducive to expand the application of domestic instruments. The research results of the project have published 3 papers in domestic core academic journals and academic conferences.
