At the 2013 China (Beijing) International Offshore Oil and Gas Technology Exhibition held on October 10-12, Chongqing Gearbox Co., Ltd. exhibited its newly developed 400-foot marine jack-up drilling platform SJ450 lifting gear ( See picture).
According to reports, the project is based on the 2010 high-tech ship research project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The device adopts multi-module climbing pinion and multi-stage deceleration technology with large reduction ratio to ensure large lifting force. The rated input power of the device is 45 kW, the rated input speed is 1480 rpm, the rated lifting weight of a single unit is 454 tons, the maximum normal ballast is 590 tons, and the storm self-storage capacity reaches 726 tons.
At present, the design and manufacture of the device has passed the design certification and product load test certification of American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and China Classification Society (CCS).
In the future, Heavy Tooth will continue to develop 250-550-foot series of marine jack-up rig lifting and lifting equipment, and carry out research and development of this device system integration.
