The final appraisal of the 2009 “China Automotive Industry Science and Technology Award†sponsored by the China Automotive Industry Science and Technology Progress Award Fund Committee was announced recently. The FAW Group completed the “FAW Liberation of the sixth-generation J6 heavy-duty commercial vehicle and its heavy-duty diesel autonomy. The "Development" project won the special award. This is the first special award project since the establishment of the China Automotive Industry Science and Technology Award. "Liberation of the sixth generation of the J6 project" is a major project for replacement of commercial vehicles and technological upgrading during FAW's "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period. It is also a key scientific and technological project for whether FAW can rely on technology introduction and independently realize the replacement of commercial vehicles and continuous development.
