·Beijing Benz Auto Co., Ltd. recalled some 2016 Beijing Benz E-class ordinary passenger vehicles

Recently, Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to recall it from July 9, 2016 to 2016 at 8 December 2016. Some of the 2016 Beijing Mercedes-Benz E-Class (213 platform) ordinary passenger cars produced during the 15th of the month, totaling 3,364 vehicles.
In some vehicles within the scope of this recall, there is a fixed deviation of the harness of the oil pump control unit under the rear seat cushion. In extreme cases, the downward movement of the cushion frame may cause the harness to be crushed and damaged, causing fuel supply interruption and engine stall. There are security risks. Beijing Benz Auto Co., Ltd. will re-fix the wiring harness for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
